About Natalia:

Natalia Borowska was born in Bialystok, Poland and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is a second-year graduate student at the La Follette School of Public Affairs, pursuing a Master of Public Affairs degree. Her policy areas of interest are in immigration, criminal justice, and higher education policy. Natalia completed her undergraduate degree as a first-generation college student at Northeastern Illinois University, where she double-majored in Justice Studies and Political Science. As a student there, she worked as a First-Year Experience Peer Mentor for over three years. In her free time, Natalia enjoys hammocking, hiking, and enjoying the sunshine at the Memorial Union Terrace!
