Position title: Academic Advisor
Teresa grew up in Garden Grove, California. She completed her undergraduate degree at New York University, graduate degree at the University of Michigan, and post-doctoral training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). Her area of research included Asian American mental health and multicultural psychology. She has taught psychology (e.g., Introduction to Psychology and Positive Psychology) courses at the University of Michigan and Madison College, and the Wisconsin Experience Seminar (CP 125) at UW-Madison. After her position as a postdoctoral researcher, she has served as a student services coordinator in the School of Education and the Statistics Department. She enjoys volunteering with LGBT Books to Prisoners, reading, being outdoors camping and hiking, attending performances, being with loved ones (friends and family), traveling, and fighting for social justice.
