About Cristina:

Cristina is originally from Beloit, WI. She completed her undergraduate degree at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and earned an MS in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Madison. She lived in Mexico for 7 years where she worked on behalf of the Science Museum of MN designing exhibits and collecting oral histories in Chiapas and as an English teacher at the University of Guanajuato. Upon her return to the U.S., she worked as a nutrition and parenting educator with the UW Cooperative Extension for over 10 years. More recently, she made the shift to higher education and has enjoyed working with students from Blackhawk Technical College, Beloit College, and UW Madison. She looks forward to helping students engage in their liberal arts education.
