Alison Spencer

About Alison:

Alison was born in Texas, but spent her childhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina before moving back to the US. She completed her undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University (ACU), during which she studied abroad in Leipzig, Germany. After graduating, she worked at ACU as an academic advisor for Honors students while completing her graduate degrees there. She later taught English in Fukuoka, Japan through the JET Program, before moving to Wisconsin in 2018.

Alison lives in Madison with her husband and cat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, studying languages, reading, singing in the Madison Symphony Chorus, playing board games, and cooking.
