Jeff Godsey

About Jeff:

A native Tennessean, Jeff came to Madison to complete his graduate education at UW, where he has worked since as a Teaching Assistant in English and Theatre and as an academic advisor.  He is particularly interested in helping new students navigate the unexpected challenges of college life. In his spare time, Jeff is a historian of rock and pop music with a particular interest in the girl groups of the 1960s, soul and rhythm and blues singers of the 1960s and 1970s, and the New Romantics of the 1980s. He also continues his theatre research in plays and films that explore the Holocaust and other genocides.
